I’m not sure everyone realizes how out of excuses Lamar Jackson really is here.

There is no missing piece…

• He got the record breaking contract

• A new OC (who rebuilt the offense around him)

• He demanded and received OBJ

• The Ravens drafted Zay Flowers in the 1st round

• He has 2 elite tight ends

• And a top ranked defense

What more can you possibly ask for?

The Ravens have catered to his every desire.

At some point, he has to show up when it counts.

Yes, he had a great season and he deserves MVP votes.

I would vote CMC, but that’s not the point.

Last I checked, they don’t hang 1 seed banners at The Bank.

His ugly playoff resume now reads like this:

• 2 wins and 4 losses

• 0 conference titles

• Thrown for 200+ yards just twice in those 6 games

• TD:INT is 6:6

His wins are over Tannehill in a wildcard game and the rookie QB led Texans in the divisional.

If Lamar’s proved anything over his 6 seasons as an NFL starter…

It’s that he’s not that guy when the season’s on the line.
