$95 Million/Year NBA Contracts Are Coming đź’°

NBA SALARY EXPLOSION

NBA players will soon be making upwards of $95 million per year.

Adam Silver is on the verge of closing the NBA’s new media deal…and it’s a big one.

We’re talking almost $80 Billion over the next 11 years.

For comparison, the last deal was signed in 2014.

It pales in comparison to the new one - which will be more than double the cash/year.

The players are entitled to 51% of all NBA revenue, which means salaries are forced to skyrocket.

The Summer of 2029 is a shocking example:

The cap will be roughly $200 million, which means a max contract (35% of the cap) will be $72 million/year.

These are 4 years + a player option 5th…and the cash goes up every year.

That 5th year player would be a whopping $95 million.

What’s more shocking is the total value of $419 million over 5 years.

We can go a step further though…

NBA max salaries are already extremely high.

Stephen Curry made $55 million this season.

By 2029 a star like Luka Doncic will have already made $350 million in career earnings.

When I share with you his full projected career earnings…your brain might break.

If Luka plays at an All-Star level and retires at 38 years old…

He’ll have a made a grand total of $1.2 Billion in the NBA.

I’m not even counting endorsements, but if we tack on his $10 million/year off the court…

His grand total by 38 years old inflates to $1.4 billion.
